Handicap This! 2013 Mike & Tim keep a rollin'

Mike Berkson and Tim Wambach have been working together since 2001. They have had many adventures and life-changing experiences. Tim started working with Mike in school as his one on one aide. Little did they know then, that they would be sought after college speakers! What started out as a friendship as turned into so much more. For example, in August 2005 Tim took Mike and his twin brother, David to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. They spent 3 days at the happiest place on earth, having as much fun as they possibly could. Then, Mike and his brother flew back to Chicago and Tim ran back to raise awareness for individuals living with cerebral palsy, and to show people what is possible, because Tim was not a runner before he did this. (Tim also wrote a book about their relationship called, "How We Roll") Because of that run, they have been asked to do many speaking engagements telling their story. After one of their talks they both had the idea that they could take their story and bring it to the stage in a theatrical experience. So, that is exactly what they did. Starting in 2008 they enlisted the help of their friend, Molly Mulcrone, to help them craft a stage-show. Their goal with the show was to highlight the challenges and more importantly the triumphs of living with a handicap in an entertaining way. Call it a cerebral palsy play, motivational entertainment or inspirational entertainment, but it is a show that EVERYBODY should see! They accomplish those goals, as well as inspiring everyone to go after their own goals and dreams despite any handicap or obstacle. Handicap This! premiered in January of 2010 to rave reviews and standing ovations and that was just the beginning! Their universal message is 'Judgment Not Allowed' and they want to spread this message to as many people as possible. Some may say they are well on their way. So far over 20,000 people have experienced their show. (As of June 2013) Their largest crowd was at the University of Illinois, where they performed for over 1,200 students and faculty. Talk about a crowd! They can't describe what it was like performing in front of such a large audience. They are constantly getting requests from all over the country. They have received inquiries from Anchorage, Alaska, Los Angeles, California, and Australia, just to name a few. Their message resonates with all audiences and they couldn't be prouder of the impact they are making in communities where they perform. They are conference speakers, diversity speakers, but most of all they use their message to improve the lives of everyone who experiences it. Handicap This Productions is a motivational entertainment company that travels all over the country, whether it be an inspirational speech or their live stage show, you are missing out if you have not had the chance to see this dynamic duo in action!

Thank you for taking the time to read their little story. It has been their pleasure to share it.

Hopefully they will be rollin' to a town near you.
